Bluelink^TM[P3] app^[P4]

The Hyundai Bluelink^TM[P3] app^[P4] connects you to your car from wherever you may be – at home, work, or play – all via a smartphone app. You can confirm your car’s status from afar, including data such as fuel levels/distance to empty, engine on/off and door lock status. You can also turn on the climate control remotely (available on auto transmission only) so when the family comes back from the beach, the cabin is chilled, not summer sizzling hot. Bluelink^TM[P3] app^[P4] is so advanced, even the kidults will be intrigued by the tech.

For the ultimate peace of mind, the Bluelink^TM[P3] app^[P4] includes Automatic Collison Notification – an Emergency SOS Call Service which can be activated in the event of a severe collision. When the SOS button is pressed, you’re connected to an emergency call facility which can dispatch emergency responders if and when required.

Reverse Light Guide.

This Hyundai first is a clever innovation because it lights up the rear of your vehicle when reversing. It not only assists you, it also alerts any cars or pedestrians walking behind as to where you’re reversing and is especially helpful in dimly lit environments.

Digital Centre Mirror.

In a first for a Hyundai line-up, the Palisade links a rear-view camera to a full-display digital centre rear-view mirror. The driver enjoys a clear view of the road behind with no obstructions from rear passengers or cargo.

Remote Smart Park Assist (RSPA).

If you’ve ever been ‘parked in’ where you can’t open your driver’s door, then you’ll love this Palisade technology. You simply stand near your Palisade and activate the Remote Smart Parking Assist from your smart key, and the vehicle will drive itself straight out of the tight spot for you, then you can easily hop in. You can even drive your Palisade into tight spots the same way.

Surround View Monitor (SVM) with 3D view.

Thanks to a series of high-resolution cameras which create a 360 degree, bird’s eye view of your Palisade, all your surroundings are displayed on your 12.3” multimedia touchscreen in full 3D perspective – so even with a car full of ‘kids with attitude’, you’ll find it easy to park confidently every time.

Monitoring your blind spots.

When you signal with your Palisade's indicators they activate your Blind-Spot View Monitor (BVM) so you can see cars travelling in the rear blind spots and projects real-time video onto your 12.3” supervision cluster. This provides a clearer picture of the situation before changing lanes.

Styling is defined by a powerful and long hood design, whilst a wider, cascading grille accentuates new, vertically connected LED headlights. Captain seats are available for the second row to create a luxurious and spacious 2-2-3 seating configuration. Meticulously designed, all the Palisade’s seats have been developed with the latest ergonomic technologies for superior comfort and easier entry and exit.

Personalised climate control.

Whether the kidults think they’re super cool or hot, you can keep them all at their preferred temperature in the Palisade. The front row features dual-zone climate control with auto defog (exclusive to Highlander) whilst the second row also has separate climate controls so rear passengers can set their preferred temperatures.

On chilly mornings or hot afternoons, you can pre-heat or cool the interior to the perfect temperature. You can pre-load your Sat Nav destination, so you just jump in and drive. Forgot where you parked? The Bluelink^TM[P3] app^[P4] will find your car for you. It will update you on the car’s mechanical status, and even provide an SOS service in the event of a serious collision.

Driver Talk intercom system.

Blind-Spot Collision Avoidance-Assist (BCA).

Like a second set of eyes, this system uses radar sensors in the rear bumper to look out for vehicles in the driver’s blind spot. When BCA detects a vehicle in those blind spots, it provides visual and audible alerts to help you keep your Palisade out of harm’s way.

Signalling left or right with the Palisade’s indicators will activate Blind-Spot View Monitor (BVM). This safety system can see cars travelling in rear blind spots and projects real-time video onto the 12.3” supervision cluster, giving the driver an even better driving picture to respond to.

This steering-assist function detects lane markings to monitor your Palisade’s position in the lane. Should you stray from a lane without activating your indicators, an audible and visual warning will be sounded and where required, steering intervention will be provided to keep you in your lane.

Lane Following Assist (LFA).

LFA uses the front windshield mounted camera to detect lane markers and preceding traffic on the road, and provides steering assistance to ensure the vehicle stays in the centre of the lane.

Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist (RCCA).

This system helps ensure driving in a carpark never resembles driving dodgems in a funpark. When in low-speed reverse exiting out of a car spot, the Palisade’s rear sensors will alert you if a vehicle enters your blind-spot – a warning will sound and a visual alert will appear in the supervision cluster. Then if necessary, emergency braking will self-activate to help prevent a collision.

Rear Occupant Alert (ROA) – Advanced.

This system monitors the Palisade’s rear doors opening and closing so nothing is accidentally left behind inside the Palisade. When the driver stops the engine and opens their door to exit, ROA will display a “Check rear seats" warning message in the supervision cluster. And if the system detects movement after the driver parks, turns the ignition off and locks the Palisade, ROA-Advanced will sound an alarm, alerting the driver.

Remote Smart Parking Assist (RSPA).

Imagine coming back to your car after a long day of shopping and finding two cars parked so close on either side of you that you can’t open your doors to get in. With your Palisade, that’s not a problem. Simply activate Remote Smart Parking Assist with your smart key and watch your Palisade drive itself straight out of that tight spot, so you and your passengers can comfortably hop in. Better still, your Palisade can drive straight into tight parking spots the same way.

Safe Exit Assist (SEA).

The Palisade’s senses are always looking out for you. Even when it’s parked, if it detects a car approaching from behind, it will prevent the driver from disengaging the electronic child safety lock to allow passengers in the second row seat from exiting the vehicle. And if it detects a vehicle approaching and a road-facing rear passenger opens their door, it will sound a warning chime reminding them to be careful and a warning sign will also pop up in the cluster.
